It all started in 1963, with black-and white vignettes about the loon, the moose, the gannet and the beaver… Over five decades, Hinterland Who’s Who has inspired thousands of Canadians to connect with wildlife in many different ways. And that’s just a start! Now, HWW wishes to invite our Ottawa-Gatineau public to a day of celebration in honour of our 50 years of bringing Canada’s amazing wildlife directly into people’s homes.
Everyone is invited to spend a day outdoors with HWW in Gatineau Park! Not only will the public be able to enjoy the gorgeous fall scenery, but they will also be learning more about our amazing wildlife. We'll have plenty of free-of-charge family activities for people of all ages, including guided tours on the trails, wildlife games, face-painting and much, much more. People will be even able to mingle with the HWW hosts and some live animal guests!
Here are the event’s details:
When: October 14th, 2013, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Where: Gatineau Park Visitor Centre
