PHOTO: Decorative graphic wraps on traffic light control boxes in Old Ottawa South

I noticed these colorfully wrapped traffic light control boxes in Old Ottawa South. The graphic wraps are similar to what Canada Post uses on their mailboxes to discourage graffiti.  Are these new or am I just not observant enough?  Is that big red thing supposed to be the O-Train?

  1. They've had the same thing on the control box at Bank and Gilmour (next to the Bridgehead) for over a year now. I think it's to prevent postering and graffiti. If so, it really does work
