Here's a really interesting photography idea from Ottawa's Stephen Harrison. He collected six garbage bags worth of trash along Poole Creek in Stittsville, sorted it out, and then took some photos:
It's disconcerting to see how much garbage we've discarded, and yet it makes for a fascinating subject. All this decaying trash makes for some very compelling visuals. You can see more photos and learn more about the project on Harrison's blog.
