  2. Wow. I knew it was insane, especially when you get off the Quyon ferry and end up in the 'city' of Ottawa. Or the fact that you're almost in Almonte or Kemptville before you're out of Ottawa. I wonder what the comparative population densities are.

  4. The population of Calgary has over a million people, and Edmonton had 666 thousand in 2008. Ottawa is using a huge amount of land to support a population of 870 thousand.
