Weekly volunteer round-up: Bowling companion, tow truck driver, lunch club hostess

Here are some Ottawa volunteer opportunities, provided by Volunteer Ottawa. Click on any of the links for more information.
  • Bowling Companion
  • Are you ready to knock down some pins? A person with an intellectual disability is looking for a someone to go bowling with about once per week at McArthur Lanes.
  • Luncheon Club Hostess
  • The Luncheon Club is a wheels to meals program that allows seniors to participate in social outings and activities two days a week. We are in need of a volunteer to help with our Tuesday activities. A commitment is needed one day a week from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm. Duties include riding the bus to pick up and drop off clients, helping to serve lunch and socializing with clients.
  • Tow Truck Driver
  • Do you drive a tow truck for a living or know someone who does? Would you be interested in talking about tow trucks or maybe even organizing a ride along in a tow truck? If so, a person with an intellectual disability would be interested in meeting you
