Election night tv and radio coverage

A quick round-up of election night coverage planned for local tv & radio:
  • CTV Ottawa (Cable 7): Special election coverage program, 8:30pm to 9:00pm. Frequent updates throughout the evening. Full update at 11:30PM with Leigh Chapple.

  • CFRA (580AM): November 13: Full coverage starting at 7pm live from City Hall. Listener reaction via open phone later in the evening, approx. 11:00pm.

  • Rogers 22: Municipal Votes 2006 kicks off at 8pm with James Hendricks, Ed Hand and Janet Eastman.
  • CBC Radio One (91.5FM): Live local election coverage at 8:00pm, continuing until all reults are known.

  • CBC Television (Cable 8): Advance coverage beginning at 6:00pm.

  • A-Channel (Cable 6): Sandra Blaikie hosts A-Channel News: Your Vote ’06 live from Ottawa City Hall beginning at 8pm on November 13. Sandra will be joined by a panel of political insiders who will provide election night analysis. The panel includes: M.P.P. and former Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson, former city councillor Janet Stavinga and Liberal insider Richard Mahoney. Also live reports from the headquarters of the top three mayoralty candidates, along with live updates from our news team monitoring the races outside the city.
